Join us this December for a magical new production of The Nutcracker unlike any you’ve seen before. Presented as part of our Winter Tales series, The Nutcracker: Kingdom of the Dolls brings to life the enchanting world imagined by E.T.A. Hoffmann in his beloved story Nutcracker and Mouse King.
This one-act version of the holiday classic is a perfect introduction to ballet — beautifully staged, just under an hour in length, and designed to delight audiences of all ages. Families with young children are especially encouraged to attend and experience the joy and wonder of the season together.
Former Pacific Northwest Ballet dancers and Adage Ballet Academy Directors Abby Jayne DeAngelo and Guillaume Basso lead this original production as Nutcracker and Marie. Performing alongside their talented students of Adage Ballet Academy and amongst other professional guest artists, this new adaptation reveals the choreographic richness and imagination at the heart of Hoffmann’s tale — a celebration…
