Adage Ballet Academy offers classes for students ages 7+ who enjoy dancing, as well as training for those who wish to pursue a professional career in ballet. Located in SoDo Seattle, our facilities feature 2 beautiful studios, 4 bathrooms, a changing area, a kitchenette, yoga studio, reception, and a parent waiting area.

Small class sizes of 7 dancers maximum creates an intimate and personalized environment for the study of classical ballet. Our three main tiers of training are meticulously designed to challenge the physical and technical abilities of each dancer.

The tiers are carefully graded by physical strength and development and dancers are introduced to progressive levels of ballet technique and physical conditioning. Dancers are promoted through the tiers according to individual progress in acquiring technique and strength.

*Applications are required for Academy Enrollment. ABA is currently scheduling individual trial classes for dancers who submit an application form. Please contact us to discuss application requirements and to schedule your trial class.
Tiers of Training
The division of dancers into Tiers is based solely on ability, not age. ABA Faculty place dancers in the Tier where it is felt they will benefit the most. Placement factors include technical achievement and the nature of individual needs observed. Normally there are students of a broad range of ages in each class. Changes in level placement are always initiated by ABA Staff - never by the dancer or their parent/guardian. On rare occasions when adjustment in level is warranted, a change will be made as soon as possible.
