Adagio Tier

The Adagio Tier at Adage Ballet Academy is an elite program designed for serious dancers aged 16-20 who demonstrate a strong commitment to pursuing a professional career in dance. Entry into this tier requires an audition, reflecting its high standards and focus on intensive development. This two-year daytime program offers personalized training and coaching, simulating the demands and rigor of a full-time dance career.

In the Adagio Tier, dancers are encouraged to master the highest levels of ballet technique while also exploring the expressive aspects of character and emotion in ballet. The curriculum is designed to emancipate dancers as complete artists, equipping them with the ability to convey depth and nuance in their performances. The program's comprehensive approach ensures that dancers not only achieve technical excellence but also develop a profound artistic voice.

As this tier requires significant commitment, participants are expected to be home-schooled or have flexible academic arrangements to accommodate daytime training sessions. The schedule is structured to enhance each dancer’s artistry and strengthen their technique through extended hours of practice and additional classes. Although the main classes are combined with those of the Primary Advanced tier, Adagio students receive extra training to meet the specialized curriculum requirements.
