Adage Ballet Spring Showcase 2024

Join us for an evening of ballet at the Adage Ballet Academy Spring Showcase 2024, where technique meets artistry in a celebration of dance. This year’s showcase features an exciting lineup of performances, promising a memorable experience for ballet enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

When: May 21st and 22nd, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM

Where: Carco Theatre, 1717 Maple Valley Highway, Renton, WA 98057

This exclusive event will spotlight the emerging talent of Adage Ballet Academy students, alongside a special solo performance by our esteemed Owner and Artistic Director, Abby Jayne DeAngelo. The evening will unfold with a diverse array of ballet pieces, including:

• A Barre Demonstration by our advanced students, showcasing the foundation of ballet technique and the prowess of memorization as studied this academic year.
• Solos from the Classical Repertoire, featuring time-honored ballet pieces.
• Excerpts from the O-Jak Bridge Dance & Art Festival 2023: Non-Traditional Swan Lake, reimagining the classics from Act III.
• The Magic Mirror: A sneak peek at sketches and workshops from an upcoming brand NEW ballet in 3 Acts, upon which Adage Ballet has acquired the rights for Guillaume Basso to choreograph and produce.
• Dance Tetrad: An original suite of four dances, choreographed by Abby Jayne DeAngelo & Guillaume Basso, highlighting the skill and passion of students across all levels of the academy.

Our showcase aims to attract not only the families and friends of our performers but also significant figures in the ballet world, including artistic directors, choreographers, professional dancers, and ballet aficionados. We welcome future students and the general public to experience the beauty of ballet and support arising talent.

Tickets: Available exclusively on our website. $25 for adults and $15 for students. Pre-purchase is required as no tickets will be sold at the door.
